Originally from Canada, Joni completed her physiotherapy degree on the Gold Coast at Bond University and has proudly made Australia home. She embraces the Gold Coast’s active outdoor lifestyle and understands firsthand the importance of staying strong, mobile, and injury-free.

Joni has a strong sporting background and is a highly skilled soccer player, giving her valuable insight into the physical demands of field-based sports and team competition. Her experience in sport helps her connect with athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to competitive players.

Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Joni combines hands-on treatment with targeted rehabilitation to help patients achieve lasting results. She is passionate about guiding people back to the activities they enjoy stronger, more confident, and performing at their best.

Within the Functional Health team, she currently holds the inhouse Golf Championship, remaining unbeaten in the Annual Christmas Golf Game 4 years in a row despite only playing once a year.
