Learn about the Functional Health Journey | In January 2013 Functional Health bought and re branded MXS Australia’s Brisbane Rd clinic. At the time, previous owner Wayne had ambitions in the Medical field leaving the perfect opportunity for us take over and improve upon what was already a very successful clinic. Since 2013, Functional Health has grown its team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists providing patients with a wealth of knowledge and experience. This knowledge and experience in addition to the highest standard of patient care is the key to our fantastic results.
Outstanding patient results has meant Functional Health has and continues to establish a fantastic reputation amongst health and medical professionals on the Gold Coast. Our team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists collectively hold a wealth of knowledge and experience and are passionate about Improving the Quality of Life for All Australians. Our customer service and administration personnel make sure the experience at Functional Health is positive, from the moment of making your first appointment, through to the conclusion of treatment.
The centre is equipped with a number of private consultation rooms, as well as the world’s most technically advanced medical exercise equipment, MedX. This allows for a holistic approach to treatment and our health professionals have everything they need to not only ensure a great result but also establish a management plan to prevent re-occurrence.
Both Eftpos and HICAPS facilities are available, allowing the automatic claim of private health fund benefits at the time of the appointment. With the appropriate referrals we also accept DVA, Medicare, WorkCover, as well as most other third-party funding.
